The James Webb Space Telescope has snapped new pictures of a cosmic cloud of gas and dust blown off by a dying star, whose fate is still unknown to scientists.
I have been thinking a lot lately about “diachronic AI” and “vintage LLMs” — language models designed to index a particular slice of historical sources rather than to hoover up all data available.
